Regional Recruitment Manager
What does your role entail?
Those who know me would more than likely describe me as personable and creative, this is the best way I can describe my role as Recruitment and Social Media Officer. I am at the beginning of every trainee teachers’ journey, from the social media post that caught their eye, or the recruitment event they attended, to the first voice they hear at shortlisting. Once a candidate is through the shortlisting stage I work closely with SLT and Principals to ensure the smooth running of their interview process and successful placement. I manage and create marketing content across our social platforms and website, whilst working with our present and past trainees documenting and celebrating their Harris journey.
What are your credentials/experience to your current position?
I first entered the world of education in Thailand, becoming a qualified ESL Teacher. Three months prior to my arrival in Thailand I was working in central London within the fashion industry as a Fashion Buyer, questioning if the fashion industry matched my own values. The answer was no, I’ve never looked back.
What is your highlight?
I am at the beginning of every trainees journey, seeing their growth from application through to becoming a newly qualified teacher, that feeling can't be beaten.
